This month has been fun! It, however, has not gone by without its challenges!! I would have to honestly say that the last year and a half has had it's challenges. It is so hard to believe that we have lived in NC for 1 year now. I am truly learning every day to trust God and rely on Him for EVERYTHING!

What has been going on!
We have had a busy week. Last Monday we went to the park with some friends, Tuesday we went over to a Friends house for dinner to celebrate another friends birthday. Wednesday we went to the birthday friends house to help her get her nursery ready for her little girl that will be here in 6 days. It was also Alyssa's birthday, so after we went to DQ to get Ice cream before church. She wanted to take cup cakes to her Daisey's class to share with everyone. It was so cute when she walked in they hid behind the door and yelled surprise to her and sang happy birthday. She has wanted a surprise party and well.... she didn't expect that. She stood at the door kinda freaked out for a min. Thur the girls played out side all day on the slip n slide and we had cake and ice cream that night for her b-day. Albert has been playing softball with our church, so our weekends have been filled with games and church. They just had their last games this weekend. It was allot of fun, but I am glad it is over for now. It was starting to get really hot out. This past weekend they had 3 games 1 on Friday night and 2 on Sat when it was 100 out side. Sunday we had church and Sunday night they had their badge celebration for Mpact girls club and Royal rangers. It was so much fun. The girls went up on stage and received their sashes with their badges for the units they did. Each unit consisted of book work, memory verses, and a project.
With all that went on this week. I am sad to say I did not get a single picture! :-( My camera is not working!
This week I have officially his the 20 week mark! Ya, I am half way there!

Long time and feeling better!
It feels like a long time since I have blogged! When I found out that I was pregnant it took a while to swallow the fact that I will be having 4 children and 2 of them under the age of 2! I also had awful sickness and didn't even want to be on the computer. I am now feeling much better. I have more energy and have my appetite back!! That is good since I really like food. I had the hardest time going to the grocery store, because I felt like I could get sick just looking at food. We defiantly ate out allot.... not good for trying to be wise with money! I had laid my coupon clipping to the side and am now ready to get back into it. I almost feel like I am starting over.

Game on....or maybe not!
Albert and I just joined our coed softball league at church! Very exciting.. huh! We where getting everything finished up with signing up and ordering our shirts on Monday when Monday night .... I find out I am pregnant! I am slowly digesting it! I think I cried for about an hour! You see this one will be my fourth and my youngest child is only 10 months old and I didn't have any plans of having another one for a while or even at all! But, I guess God has a different plan for us. So for now I will be a cheerleader on the sidelines (with the other pregnant wives.. lol) cheering for my husband and our church! Now that the complete shock has wore off I am excited. I know that children are a gift from God! Maybe God thought that Gaven would need someone his age to play with. I don't know! God is in control

Valentines!
My plans for today…..
~The girls are going to help me make a carrot cake from the yummy recipe that my neighbor gave to me. All from scratch!!
~Brianna and Alyssa going to work on their Valentine cards for a party this afternoon with other home school friends from our church. (26 children going to be there. I feel so blessed to have so much home school support!)
~Tonight I am going to make a heart shaped pizza for my girls. I think they are going to think that is cool. I am hopping to have the kiddo’s in bed or at least resting watching a movie early.
~Instead of going out and spending alot on dinner and paying for a sitter. My husband and I are going to making Filet Marsala for dinner! I hope it turns out yummy!
I hope your Valentines Day is special and you feel loved on this special day!
Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV)
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Commitment
Our Pastor is doing a series on Kingdom Investments. This Sunday was on Commitment.
There was more to this message, but this was one thing that really hit home with me.
Life is a marathon not a sprint. Along the way things are not always going to go the way that you planned it out to go. It is in those moments when you find out what kind of commitment you have. Your commitment will determine weather the Lord can trust you with more.
>What is your level of Commitment when things are not going the way that you plan them out to go?
My life has taken some unexpected turns over the past year! Defiantly not what I expected, but my Lord is sovereign and good. He works All things out for His glory!
Thank you Lord for who you are. Lord, I pray Ephesians 6:10-18 over my life. I pray that no mater what path my life takes, weather it be exactly like I thought it would be or something totally different, that I will stand firm against the devils schemes. I pray that my commitment will not waver. I pray that my faith is strengthened. I pray for discernment in all situations. I pray that I not only acknowledge the promises of God, but that I live in his truth accepting all that he has for me. I pray that I am able to teach my children your ways, so that they will have a heart after you! In Your Mighty Name I Pray. Amen
Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Inspired to save!
Ok.... So here I go!
My family moved to NC 6 months ago ( WOW... time is flying) and now I have a little more time on my hands. Since we have been here I have been feeling the desire to be a little more frugle with our money. Well it started with coupon clipping which I felt I never had time to do before or I would clip them and leave them at home and forget to use them. When I got started I would save tops $8 off of my grocery bill. I was having a hard time figguring out how to make this work. I was still walking out of the grocery store spending anywhere from $150 - $200 for about and a week and a half of food and toiletries. Well, I have found some of my favoriet sites that I go to often to get the best tips on saving money. Now I have been able to spent $60-$100 a week on food. I am still new at this and working on how to cut that down even more! It is so much fun! I am also finding way of getting things for free! Even better huh.
Here are some of the sites I check often! These girls are great at getting be best deals at CVS and more!
Cassie
Jessica
Moneysavingmom
I also have signed up to grocery game and have been able to save a bunch on my grocerys. I try to only buy things that are on sale. So, I went grocery shopping yesterday and here is how I did!
Lowes Foods- $62.97
Reward savings/ Coupons -$20.73
Total spent- $42.24
Kroger - $95.68
Kroger Plus saving/ Coupons -$29.81
Total spent-$65.87
I spent a total of $108.11 and saved $50.54! I know it will get better. I will be working cutting that bill in half!
I plan to go to CVS today and get some free stuff! I will share later what I got. I can't wait until they get more $/$$ coupons!
